I just had my birthday a few days ago and I thought I would mark my 40th birthday by holding a party with an Asian theme. I thought it would be fun to gown up in kimonos and all. Besides, Asian food for me is absolutely delightful. My friends were all there to have fun my particular day with me and one of them gave me just the great gift a Chinese elm bonsai . What a wonderful 50th birthday gift ideas. I considered, except that I don’t really know how to take care of one. I know I can look at bonsai trees forever and never get tired executing it but when I come to think of it, I really do not know how to look after one.
I took it as a challenge to take care of a bonsai tree. Bonsai raising for me is simply an art a beautiful art, so I did some exploration on how to take care of a bonsai tree, specifically Chinese elm bonsai.
According to what I learned , I was fortunate to be offered a Chinese elm bonsai because it was one of the many bonsai species suited for beginners. Watering should only take place when it dries . It is best to set the pot in a sink filled with an inch of water and let it seep in through the underside holes. As a general rule, Chinese elm should receive more water when exposed to the sun frequently and less when placed indoors.
Repotting and wiring should take place in spring and late spring respectively. Never put some fertilizer right away after repotting since it might burn the roots. Wait for at least four weeks earlier than performing so.
Wiring a Chinese elm bonsai should also be postponed for a few weeks. When it is time to remove the wire, cut it instead of unwinding it to prevent harming/breaking any branches.

The general concept of people who are approaching 40 years of great existence is that this is the period to party, have fun and do something unusual that could leave a mark of excellence till posterity. As usual, most of us are perplexed in finalizing what the appropriate 40th birthday gift ideas would be. My bridge partner has finally entered this milestone and she being a fabulous cook deserved something out of the blue which would complement her exclusive talent of preparing delicious cuisines.
I was seriously thinking of presenting her with a polypropylene apron of black shade embossed with hand-crafted bright and funny comical motifs. I am certain that this exclusive gift would be received with delight in view of her extensive time spent in the kitchen. While other member of my family were in deep thought about coming up with a 40th birthday gift idea, one of the participants came up with Bernie Bear item as being the most novel one. I recalled that our “birthday gal” was tremendously attached to soft toys in her childhood days. In this context, the party bear being cute and very soft adorned with an attractive hat is certain to be a big hit.
Considering her skill sets in the game of Bridge, an exclusive set of cards with her signature statement may not be a bad idea as well. Some appreciate the floral gifts on their 40th birthday. My neighbor had just received such a birthday decoration gift which was so attractive that she decided to retain it as a show piece in her drawing room. It is an ideal table decoration and just the perfect gift to reverberate the birthday mood! Other equally attractive gift ideas could be the Birthday Charm Mug, Glass Frame, Toasting glass, Highball glass and other such similar pieces. These are exclusive, have an age old charm of their own and are cherished pieces for the receiver.
Glass items have created their own particular niche as ideal 40th birthday gift. These come in diverse styles and designs and are accompanied with their own set of ancillary items. Such pieces are sure to create tremendous impact and is a special treat for the special person.
