How I Became A Better StarCraft 2 Player With A StarCraft 2 Terran Guide

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

The Terran are the human race in the new RTS game StarCraft 2. They are one of three races useablein the game. Here are three tips that I have found proven useful from a StarCraft 2 Terran guide.

1) Learn how to fight effectively against any race. Knowing how to play as the Terran versus any other race is essential to winning . Always know what weak points that each race has and seek out ones you can cash in on . Also know what strengths each race has versus yourweaknesses  as the Terran so that you can be prepared to defend against it when they try to take advantage of it.

2) Learn how to micro and macro manage your troops . Micro management can be the hardest thing to learn for most players in StarCraft 2. In a nut shell, micro management is using the individual abilities of your units. For instance if your unit has an ability to teleport or jump you could use the teleport or jump ability and flank your enemy while you have another squad attack from the front and hold the attention of their troops.

3) Know the best build orders to your most powerful units. For the Terrans one of the best units to build up in the early stages of the game is the reaver. They are a powerful unit to utilize use in an offensive rush and are excellent for hit and run tactics that are used to take out the enemy’s workers . They also make a great scouting unit because they have the ability to jump over ledges instead of having to go on the normal ground unit path .

These are some very basic tips but they all need to be mastered if you want to become the best StarCraft 2 player that you can be. Micro management alone is one of the biggest strong points that any professional gamer has up their sleeve and if you want to be able to compete on the leader boards then you definitely need to be able to learn it.

There are many StarCraft 2 Terran guides out there for players to purchase , both physical guides and digital guides. I recommend you go with a digital guide if only for the reason that they are constantly updated for free. Games like StarCraft 2 are always changing , and a physical guide will most likely never be updated.

Sunday, August 15th, 2010

Height, backrests, lumbar support, depth and width, material and padding, armrests, adjustment controls, and swivel and casters are the most important features to look for when choosing a comfortable office chair to use at work.

Office chairs are one of the most important pieces of furniture that you rely on to comfortably complete your daily work at the office. Knowing the key things about office chairs will help you save money and maximize your comfort when working. It is important that you understand the various features and how they will provide you the best support you need at work.

Height

Check whether or not the height is adjustable. A chair with n adjustable height will provide you more options and allow you to choose your preferred and most comfortable elevation while working. You can check for a lever below the chair to see if it accommodates adjustable height.

Backrests

Having an adjustable backrest provides comfort and relaxation. Make sure that you can move the backrest backward or forward. Also, check see if height of the backrest is adjustable, as this is also an advantage for your comfort. You will be amazed that you can relax and work well with an appropriate backrest behind you that supports your back from any aches during your work hours.

Lumbar support

Lumbar support is also a very important feature. The lumbar support needs to fit your lower back well; it is where most people need quality support. A lumbar support will minimize the strain on your lumbar disks located in your lower back.

Depth and width

having a chair with the appropriate depth and width will efficiently provide you a more relaxed working stance. If you are taller, the depth and width should be at range. A shallow depth and width is also ideal if you are shorter. An allowance of two to four inches is appropriate between the distance of the chair and the back of the knees.

Material and padding

The materials used for the padding should be smooth and relaxing to sit in. The padding material should be hard enough to last longer. It should also be soft enough to provide comfort even when sitting on it for several hours.

Armrests

Armrests are important especially, if you want to relax your shoulders and your neck. They must be adjustable so that they can easily help you find your preferred position. Always see to it that the armrests can support you in an appropriate working position. Armrests which make you slouch are not advisable.

Adjustment controls

Adjustment controls are also important. Make sure that you can reach the controls even if you are sitting. This will make you work efficiently without having you move in order to reach the adjustment controls.

Swivel and casters

Make sure that you can rotate the chair properly. A swivel seat on casters makes moving in the office, especially between desks, easier. The caster is also very important because it will help you with your mobility when working around the office.

Be sure to take into consideration the overall design of the office chair. Make sure that with all it’s important features, its look is harmonious to and suits the office.
